I am a contract Case Manager who works with families who have behavioral health needs. It is exciting to see a group addressing this need. I am working with a single mom who just received a section 8 voucher but does not have household items, so I was wondering about your process of helping families with this? This mom is employed full-time, but doesn’t have extra to buy beds etc.

Do household items need to be new? I also have a small truck and could help to deliver on saturday the 15th. Let me know..God bless you

I would like to say thank you to all who helped me. I know it must have been a long hard trip to go through with me, but I thank you for sticking it out with me. You can send me a message from the “contact” page and I will give you my phone number. You can then give that phone number to anyone who needs help or who would like to donate. Donors can also email me at cissa@hopechestokc.org or send me a message through the “contact” page. If an individual is not capable of calling me or communicating clearly with me, then that can be done through you, the case worker. I do my best to make sure that we at Hope Chest are able to help any individual or family who needs assistance.

I’m getting in touch with my friend Courtney who goes to Lifechurch.tv and is in cosmetology school. She could do the hair and nails for the bride and bridesmaids! I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from her!

It was a real blast! There was such gratification after the days’ work when we actually got to deliver items to the family and see their eyes light up with hope and thankfulness. It makes me appreciate what I have even more. We’re so blessed.
